Two Brothers launches exhaust systems for 2009 Yamaha R1
Two Brothers Racing has launched slip-on exhaust systems for the 2009 Yamaha R1.
2009 Yamaha R1 Slip-on Exhausts
Designed and hand built at TBR’s California facility, the slip-on systems will be available in M2 configuration with option of Aluminium, Titanium or exclusive filament wound carbon fiber construction.
The new dual exhaust systems from USA based Two Brothers Racing claim to provide a weight saving of 1.8 kgs (6 lbs) & a massive mid-range 6.3 hp gain @ 6200 rpm over the stock bike. Peak horsepower is up by 4 hp @ 11,700 rpm.
Torque too has been bumped up too. Mid-range torque is up by 5 ft-lb @ 6100 rpm while peak torque at 8,900 rpm is up by a full ft-lb.
