The shin, calf, heel and ankle protectors are built out of shock-resistant polyurethane material for high-impact protection. Also there are polyurethane heel inserts for added safety. The sole is made out of anti-slip rubber sole for precise grip at all times. The foot can take a lot of beating in case of an unfortunate incident and for that the foot bed is armoured with a steel plate. The leather material is waterproof treated but not fully waterproof for all-weather-riding. There are removable anti-abrasion sliders that can be easily changed as needed.
