These gloves are surely good in protection. ample protectors at finger joints, knuckles, palm and wrist, the double velcro is no fake and works well to keep the gloves snugly fitted onto your hands. the stitches are good and do not come out. Finish is good, and if you select the right sizing the fit is perfect.
However the gloves are not water proof (since they are ventilated) , DO not ride with these gloves in the rain, water gets in quite easily through the finger vents and make it very uncomfortable. and these gloves gave off colour onto my hands when i was on one such ride to Hoggenakkal falls. they thereafter took a long time to dry and the smell wasnt pleasant at all.
